What is Transcripts?

Transcripts is your central hub for all meeting recordings captured through Timer Pallas. Every meeting you record is automatically transcribed, analyzed by AI, and organized for easy retrieval. Whether it was a scheduled booking, a quick instant meeting, or a freestyle voice note, Transcripts stores the full text along with AI-generated summaries, action items, and sentiment analysis so you never miss an important detail.

Pro Tip: Use the search bar to find transcripts by keyword, participant name, or topic. Transcripts searches across titles, summaries, and full transcript content so you can locate exactly what was discussed in any meeting.

Your recording is transcribed in the background. While processing, the transcript card shows a progress indicator with its current status. You will see it move from Processing to Completed.

  3. 3
    AI Analysis

Once transcription completes, AI generates a one-liner summary, identifies action items, and calculates a sentiment score. These insights appear as indicators on the transcript card.

Click any transcript card to view full details on the dedicated transcript page, or use the play button to listen to the recording with the built-in audio player featuring speed controls and progress tracking.

Best Practices

Ensure Clear Audio

For the best transcription accuracy and higher quality scores, use a good microphone and minimize background noise during recordings.

Review Action Items Promptly

Check the AI-extracted action items after each meeting while context is fresh. The action items indicator on transcript cards helps you identify which meetings have follow-ups.

Retry Failed Transcripts

If a transcript shows a Failed status, use the Retry Processing button to resubmit it. Temporary network or processing issues are often resolved on a second attempt.

Use Playback Speed

Listen to recordings at 1.5x or 2x speed to review meetings quickly. Slow down to 0.5x or 0.75x for complex discussions that require careful attention.

Export Regularly

Use the Export feature to download your transcripts as CSV for backup, reporting, or importing into other tools. This keeps your meeting records accessible outside of Timer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get transcripts to appear here?

Transcripts are generated automatically when you record meetings using Timer Pallas. Enable Timer Pallas from the Pallas page, start a recording during any meeting, and the transcript will appear here once processing completes.

Why is my transcript stuck on Processing?

Processing time depends on the recording length. Short recordings typically complete in a few minutes while longer meetings may take more time. If a transcript remains in Processing for an extended period, try refreshing the page.

Why are Download and Share buttons disabled?

Download and Share features are available exclusively for Pro subscribers and above. Free tier users can view, search, play recordings, and access AI insights, but downloading and sharing require an upgrade to Pro or MAX.

What are the different source tags on transcript cards?

Source tags indicate how the recording was created. Voice Note means a freestyle recording, Quick Meeting means an instant ad-hoc meeting, and the meeting type name (with color) indicates a scheduled booking. Linked recordings show a link icon.

What does the sentiment score mean?

The sentiment score reflects the overall tone of the meeting as analyzed by AI. A score of 0.6 or above is marked as Positive with a smile icon, 0.4 or below is Negative with a frown icon, and anything in between is Neutral. This helps you quickly gauge the mood of past meetings.
