What is the Teams Page?
The Teams page is your central hub for managing all the teams you own or belong to. Unlike the single-team Team Hub, the Teams page gives you a bird's-eye view across multiple teams — displaying them as branded cards in a searchable, filterable grid. From here you can create new teams, respond to pending invitations, open any team's detail drawer to manage members, view dashboards, track activity, configure shared meeting types, share contacts, and launch team chat.
Pro Tip: The hero section at the top displays live stats — total teams, total members, pending invitations, and active members — so you can gauge your collaborative footprint at a glance without opening any individual team.
Key Features
Multi-Team Grid
All your teams are displayed as branded cards showing the team name, logo, description, your role, member count, member avatar stack, and real-time activity status.
Invitation Management
Pending team invitations appear in a prominent banner at the top of the page. Accept or decline invitations with a single click and join teams instantly.
Team Dashboards
Each team has a built-in dashboard showing meeting statistics for today, this week, this month, average duration, and per-member performance breakdowns.
Shared Meeting Types
Owners and admins can create meeting types with configurable durations, assignment methods (Round Robin, Load Balance, Random, Priority), colors, and member assignments.
Core Workflow
1
Create a Team
Click the Create Team button to open the creation drawer. Enter a team name (required), an optional description, upload a logo (PNG or JPG), and pick a brand color from the eight-color palette. Click Create Team to finalize.
2
Invite Members
Open any team you own or administer, then click the Invite button in the footer. Enter the colleague's email address and assign a role — Member or Admin (admins can invite and remove members). If the person is not yet on Timer, a referral modal appears with your shareable link and a 100 PM bonus for both of you.
3
Manage Members and Roles
Open the team detail drawer and switch to the Members tab to see all current members, their roles, and online status. Pending invitations appear in a separate section below, where you can resend or cancel them.
4
Configure Shared Resources
Use the Meeting Types tab to create shared booking types and the Contacts tab to share contacts from your People list with the entire team. Use the Dashboard tab to monitor team performance.
5
Collaborate via Chat
Click the Chat button in the team detail footer to open a dedicated team chat conversation where all members can communicate in real time.
Views and Tabs
The Teams page offers two layout views and the team detail drawer contains six tabbed sections:
Page Views
Grid View
The default view displays teams as visual cards in a responsive grid layout. Each card shows the team logo, name, your role badge, description, member avatar stack, member count, and activity status.
List View
A compact alternative that arranges teams in a single-column list for quicker scanning when you belong to many teams. Toggle between views using the island controls and your preference is saved locally.
Team Detail Tabs
Members
Lists all team members with roles (Owner, Admin, Member) and shows pending invitations in a separate section below.
Dashboard
Displays meeting statistics (today, this week, this month, average duration), per-member performance metrics, and a recent activity feed.
Activity
A timeline of team events such as member joins, role changes, invitations sent, and meetings booked. Supports paginated loading with a Load More button.
Meeting Types
Visible to owners and admins. Create and manage shared meeting types with configurable name, description, duration (15-120 min), assignment method, color, and assigned members.
Contacts
Share contacts from your personal People list with the team. Search your contacts by name, email, or company and add them so all team members can access shared contact information.
Settings
Owner-only tab for editing team identity (name, description, logo, brand color) and a Danger Zone for permanently deleting the team with a two-step confirmation.
Best Practices
Brand Each Team
Upload a logo and choose a distinct brand color for every team so you can visually differentiate them in the grid. This is especially helpful when you belong to multiple organizations.
Use Roles Wisely
Assign the Admin role only to trusted team leads who need to invite or remove members. Keep most colleagues as Members to maintain a clean permission structure.
Leverage Meeting Types
Create shared meeting types with assignment methods like Round Robin or Load Balance so client bookings are automatically distributed across available team members.
Share Key Contacts
Add your most important clients and partners to the Contacts tab so every team member has access to up-to-date contact information without duplicating records.
Monitor the Dashboard
Check the Dashboard tab regularly to track meeting volume, identify top-performing members, and spot trends. Use average duration metrics to optimize meeting lengths across the team.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Teams and Team Hub?
The Teams page (teams.aspx) lets you manage multiple teams — create, browse, and switch between them. Team Hub (team.aspx) is the single-team management view for your primary team with deeper settings like billing, permissions, and availability calendars.
How many teams can I create or join?
There is no hard limit on the number of teams you can create or belong to. Each team operates independently with its own members, meeting types, contacts, and chat. Your role may differ across teams.
What happens when I invite someone who is not on Timer?
A referral modal appears with your unique referral link. Share the link with your colleague so they can sign up. Once they join Timer, you will both earn 100 Pallas Minutes as a referral bonus, and they can then accept the team invitation.
Can I leave a team I did not create?
Yes. Open the team detail drawer and click the Leave button in the footer. A confirmation modal will warn you that you will need a new invitation to rejoin. Team owners cannot leave — they must transfer ownership or delete the team.
What are the assignment methods for shared meeting types?
Round Robin rotates bookings evenly across assigned members. Load Balance assigns to the member with the fewest current bookings. Random picks a member at random. Priority assigns based on a defined priority order among the selected members.
