What is Companies?
Companies tracks every organization you work with — clients, vendors, partners, prospects — in one unified view. Each record draws on your shared memory: contact details, pipeline status, linked people, activity history, and notes, so you and Pallas always have the full picture when you engage.
Pro Tip
Companies work hand-in-hand with People. Link individual contacts to a company to see who you know at each organization, their roles, and your full interaction history across the relationship.
Key Features
Role-Based Classification
Assign multiple roles to each company - client, vendor, partner, prospect, or custom roles you create

Best Practices
Assign Multiple Roles
A company can be both a client and a partner. Use multiple roles to reflect the full scope of each relationship.
Link Contacts Early
Connect people to companies as soon as you add them. This builds a rich org chart and ensures activities are visible in both views.
Log Every Interaction
Record calls, emails, and meetings in the activity timeline so your team always has full context before reaching out.
Set Follow-up Dates
Use the follow-up field to schedule next steps. This prevents promising leads and important accounts from falling through the cracks.
Customize Your Pipeline
Tailor pipeline statuses to match your actual sales process. Rename stages, add new ones, and use the Kanban view to manage flow visually.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Companies and People?
People tracks individual contacts (persons), while Companies tracks organizations. You can link people to companies to see who works where and manage both individual and organizational relationships.
Can a company have multiple roles?
Yes! A company can be a client, vendor, and partner all at once. Select as many roles as apply when creating or editing a company. This reflects real-world relationships where one organization may serve multiple purposes.
How do I link a contact to a company?
Open the company detail panel by clicking on a company, then scroll to the Contacts section and click + Add. Search for an existing person from your People app, assign their job title, and click Link Contact.
Can I customize the pipeline stages?
Absolutely. Open Companies Settings and go to Pipeline Statuses. You can add new statuses, set their type (active, won, or lost), choose colors, and reorder them to match your sales process.
What activity types can I log?
You can log six activity types: Call, Email, Meeting, Note, Deal Update, and Contract. Each activity records the subject, description, outcome (Positive, Neutral, Negative, Follow-up Required), and date.
