Billing

View your complete payment history, manage invoices, configure tax information, and export billing data

What Is Billing?

The Billing page is your central hub for tracking every financial transaction in Timer. It displays summary statistics at a glance, a full searchable payment history table, and gives you tools to view, print, and download invoices. You can also manage your tax information and export billing data for accounting purposes.

Quick Tip: The four summary cards at the top of the page show your Total Spent, This Year spending, Last Invoice amount, and Next Payment date so you always know where you stand financially.

Key Features

Billing Summary Cards

Four dashboard cards display your Total Spent (all time), This Year total, Last Invoice amount and date, and your Next Payment date and amount. These update automatically when the page loads.

Payment History Table

A full list of every transaction including date, description, amount, status, and invoice number. On desktop you see a sortable table; on mobile, a card-based layout for easy reading.

Search & Filter

Quickly find transactions using the search bar (searches invoices, descriptions, and amounts) or narrow results by Transaction Type (Subscriptions, Timer Pallas, Add-ons, Refunds), Status (Paid, Pending, Failed, Refunded), and Year.

Column Sorting

Click any sortable column header (Date, Description, Amount, Status) to sort your payment history in ascending or descending order. The active sort column and direction are visually indicated.

Invoice Viewer

Click the view button on any transaction to open a detailed invoice modal. The invoice shows the Timer company details, your billing information, line items with quantities and unit prices, subtotal, tax breakdown, total, and payment status.

Download & Print Invoices

Download any invoice as a PDF file directly from the table or from the invoice viewer modal. You can also print invoices straight from the modal using the Print button.

Tax Information

Manage your company tax details through the Tax Information modal. Enter your Company Name, Tax ID or VAT Number, Tax Type (VAT, GST, or Sales Tax), and full billing address so invoices are generated with correct information.

Export Billing Data

Export your billing history in CSV (for Excel and accounting software) or PDF Summary Report format. Choose from All Time, This Year, Last Year, or a Custom Date Range to control exactly which transactions are included.

Understanding Transaction Types

Subscriptions

Recurring charges for your Timer plan. These appear each billing cycle and include the billing period dates so you can see exactly what timeframe each payment covers.

Timer Pallas

Usage-based charges for the Timer Pallas AI assistant feature. These reflect how much you have used the AI capabilities during the billing period.

Add-ons

One-time or recurring charges for additional features, extra storage, or premium capabilities that go beyond your base subscription plan.

Refunds

Credits returned to your payment method. Refund transactions show a negative amount and are marked with the Refunded status badge.

Understanding Payment Statuses

Paid

The transaction has been successfully processed and payment has been received. The invoice for this transaction is final and available for download.

Pending

The payment is being processed and has not yet been confirmed. This is normal for recent transactions and typically resolves within a few minutes to hours.

Failed

The payment could not be processed. This may be due to insufficient funds, an expired card, or a declined transaction. Check your payment method and try again.

Refunded

The payment has been reversed and the amount credited back to your original payment method. Refunds may take several business days to appear on your statement.
