What is Analytics?
Analytics is Timer's comprehensive dashboard for understanding your meeting patterns, tracking productivity, and uncovering actionable insights. It brings together key metrics, interactive charts, AI-powered recommendations, and detailed statistics to help you make the most of your time.
Pro Tip
Check your Analytics dashboard weekly to spot trends in your meeting habits. The AI Insights panel will surface recommendations automatically as you complete more meetings.
Key Metrics Cards
At the top of the Analytics page, four key metric cards give you an at-a-glance summary of your meeting performance. Each card includes a trend indicator showing how the metric has changed over the selected time period.
Meeting Hours
Total hours spent in completed meetings during the selected period, with trend comparison
Productivity Score
AI-calculated score based on meeting efficiency, duration adherence, and outcomes
Time Saved
Minutes saved by finishing meetings earlier than scheduled, helping you reclaim your day
Meetings Completed
Number of meetings successfully completed without cancellations or no-shows
Trend Indicators
Each metric card shows a percentage trend (up, down, or neutral) comparing the current period to the previous one. Green arrows indicate improvement, while red arrows signal a decline.
Charts and Visualizations
The left column of the Analytics dashboard features interactive charts powered by Chart.js that visualize your meeting data in different ways.
Meeting Distribution
A donut chart that breaks down your meetings by type (e.g., one-on-one, team, client). The center displays the total meeting count, and a custom legend shows each type with its count and percentage.
- Interactive segments: Hover over any segment to see detailed tooltips with exact counts and percentages
- Toggle visibility: Click legend items to hide or show specific meeting types
- Click to drill down: Click on chart segments for more detail about that meeting type
Productivity Heat Map
A 7-day by 24-hour grid that visualizes when you are most productive throughout the week. Darker cells indicate higher productivity levels.
- Day and hour labels: Shows days of the week (Sunday through Saturday) and hour markers (6 AM to 9 PM)
- Color intensity scale: Five levels from lightest (least productive) to darkest (most productive)
- Hover tooltips: Hover over any cell to see the exact day, time, and productivity percentage
Meeting Quality Trend
A dual-axis line chart that tracks both your meeting quality score and meeting count over time.
- Quality Score (left axis): Percentage-based score calculated from Timer Pallas analysis, duration efficiency, and other factors
- Meeting Count (right axis): Number of meetings per day to correlate volume with quality
- Smooth curves: Data points are connected with smooth lines for easy trend identification
Chart Info Buttons
Each chart card has an info button (i icon) in the top-right corner. Click it for a quick explanation of what the chart shows and how to interpret it.
AI Insights
The AI Insights panel uses machine learning to analyze your meeting patterns and surface actionable observations. Insights are categorized by type and include a confidence score indicating how reliable each insight is.

Each insight displays an impact level (high, medium, or low) and a confidence bar showing how certain the AI is about the observation. Click the refresh button to regenerate insights with the latest data.
Quick Stats
The Quick Stats panel provides six additional data points for a deeper look at your meeting performance:

Recommendations
The Recommendations panel provides personalized, prioritized suggestions based on your meeting patterns. Each recommendation includes a priority level (High, Medium, or Low) to help you focus on the most impactful changes first.
Recommendations are generated automatically as you complete more meetings. Click on any recommendation that includes an action link to navigate directly to the relevant area of Timer where you can make the suggested change.
